In a Monday interview with Newsmax TV, Atty. Sidney Powell gave an update on the fight over the alleged 2020 election fraud.
The interview came after US District Court Judge Timothy Batten scrapped Powell’s Georgia voter fraud case. Powell told Newsmax’s Greg Kelly that an emergency appeal would be filed and expects the Supreme Court to take up the case.
“The court wouldn’t pay attention to it,” said Powell of the Georgia judge’s ruling. She said that the judge obviously has made up his mind and only read from prepared noted when the motion to dismiss was granted.
“We’re going to proceed immediately with an emergency appeal, and we expect to get relief in the Supreme Court,” Atty. Powell told Kelly.
Trump’s legal team has been ramping up the lawsuits in recent weeks. Former New York City mayor Atty. Rudy Giuliani announced on Friday that a Michigan judge ordered for the forensic exam of 22 Dominion voting machines.
“BIG WIN FOR HONEST ELECTIONS,” tweeted the former mayor.
Giuliani wrote that an Antrim County Judge in Michigan ordered a forensic examination of 22 Dominion voting machines.
This is where the untrustworthy Dominion machine flipped 6000 votes from Trump to Biden. Spiking of votes by Dominion happened all over the state,” he added.
The Epoch Times reported that it remains unclear where the order originated from the several election lawsuits. The public marks four of the major election lawsuits in the state that do not feature the order that Giuliani described. The outlet said that the former mayor has yet to respond for clarification.
Giuliani also reacted to bombshell footage featuring Georgia poll workers appearing to pull out ballot suitcases from under the tables after allegedly telling other ballot counters to go home.
“WATCH: Video footage from Georgia shows suitcases filled with ballots pulled from under a table AFTER supervisors told poll workers to leave the room and 4 people stayed behind to keep counting votes,” the Trump team tweeted containing footage of the incident.
Giuliani’s series of tweets compare the video to a “bank heist.”
“The “Bank Heist” tape changes the result in Georgia,” Giuliani tweeted. He wrote that the State Legislature has no other choice but to assume powers under the US Constitution, Article II (1) and nominate Trump electors.
“More important, it seems, is to have the courage to do so,” he commented.
“How can it be disputed. It’s like disputing a bank robbery when you have four cameras showing the robbery,” Giuliani argued.
