After allegedly driving around six minors in upstate New York, a woman faces charges in ripping down Trump’s and allies’ campaign signages.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office says Deana Algarin, a 45-year-old resident of Schenectady, was arrested and accused of using minors in stealing Republican campaign sign’s.
Sheriff deputies said they were tipped off on the incident when they received a call to investigate the alleged stealing of President Trump’s re-election campaign signs. Other signs stolen were also those for Rep. Elise Stefanik of New York’s 21st congressional district. According to the investigators, the signs were stolen from Amsterdam and Tribes Hill.
Algarin was pulled over by New York State police and found signs inside the vehicle. She was charged with six counts of endangering the welfare of a child, criminal possession of stolen property, and petit larceny. Police officials also charged her for marijuana possession and two citations for seatbelt violations.
Campaign signs for the Republicans have frequently been the target of the opposition.
A Montana family testified to a disturbing incident in August. The family said an intruder ripped down their President Trump flags and burned them in their front yard. The mother said that their old house, being built in 1907, has never been renovated, could have easily caught fire while they were inside sleeping.
“I felt violated. I felt like my kids, and my life and my husband’s life were endangered,” continued the mother.
CCTV installed in front captured the incident. The suspect was linked and cited with criminal mischief, a misdemeanor.
Another strange incident involves a couple who set up a ladder to remove a Trump Flag in a pole. A little boy, who knows better, has been pleading the two to stop since he doesn’t want them to “go to jail.” The couple was charged with trespassing, larceny – petit theft, delinquency of a minor, and criminal mischief – property damage.
Could it get any more bizarre than these?
