On Friday night, Senator Mitch McConnell’s home in Highlands Kentucky was reportedly vandalized the same way Nancy Pelosi’s was just a day or so before.
This vandalism was done in protest after Congress failed to increase pandemic relief aid that struggling Americans will be receiving.
Angry messages were left on the walls that included “where’s my money,” “Mitch kills poor,” as well as expletives. The graffiti was posted online for everyone to see.
McConnell and Pelosi need to start working for the people who elected them, not for their personal goals. They and all elected politicians’ jobs are to help the people, not their egos.
Leaders need to think all of their actions through and tread lightly as people on both sides reach their breaking point — albeit for different reasons.
