On Friday, President Trump appeared on “The Rush Limbaugh Show,” and went off on LeBron James. It was part of an anti-Black Lives Matter tirade when Trump blamed the NBA’s very low ratings on the league’s pro-BLM actions.
Trump shared his opinion on “King James,” who has poisoned the NBA with divisive, toxic, and racial politics through his advocacy for Marxist-inspired Black Lives Matter.
Surly multimillionaire James has been taking frequent jabs at Trump. This time, the POTUS called the basketball player a “nasty” person and a “hater” who’s ruining pro basketball, and he didn’t stop there. He proceeded to blame him for the league’s horrible television ratings.
The reasons for the NBA’s atrocious finals ratings have been attributed to James, as most of the divisive acts made by the league were his ideas — from painting “BLACK LIVES MATTER” on the courts to the players wearing social justice slogans on their jerseys. All this has confirmed what Trump said.
“The NBA has become so political that nobody cares about it anymore,” Trump said. “I don’t even know who’s playing in the Finals.”
Trump added that he’s never met LeBron, but it’s also clear that he doesn’t like him.
“LeBron is a spokesman for the democratic party and a very nasty spokesman,” said Trump. “Because, again, I’ve done so much for the Black community and people don’t wanna see that and he’s a great basketball player but people don’t wanna see a guy that way. They don’t want to see that.”
The POTUS added, “We have enough difficulty during the week, you don’t wanna sit down watching a basketball game and then watch somebody that hates your guts, okay. He’s a hater.”
Aside from that, Trump managed to segue and ridicule Hillary Clinton, who LeBron had campaigned for in 2016.
“I don’t know anyone that’s watching the NBA,” the president said. “Lebron has been a spokesman, I don’t know him, I never met him. All I know is when he endorsed Hillary I thought, ‘That’s the greatest endorsement I’ve ever seen’ because when he endorsed Hillary four years ago, she came up to his knee. I said, ‘That is not the best-looking president I’ve ever seen.’”
President Trump just gave LeBron James what was coming to him, and it was definitely not pleasant for him.
