President Trump supporters drowned out the Friday afternoon rally of Democratic Presidential candidate Joe Biden as they honk their cars while Biden delivers his speech.
Former Vice President Joe Biden repeatedly snaps at the president’s supporters, who drew a massive crowd.
“These guys are not very polite, but they’re like Trump,” Biden said as he gestures towards the pro-Trump audience.
“They’re gonna be okay,” he continued, adding to “take care of them as well.”
He motivates his small audience, saying, “We need to come together. Need to fight for all these folks.”
In an attempt of dry humor, Biden later referred to nearby Trump supporters as “ugly folks” and said to be a reason for a nationwide mask mandate for “patriotic duty.”
The former vice president relayed how Dr. Fauci called for a mask mandate.
“This isn’t a political statement like those ugly folks over there beeping their horns. This is a patriotic duty for God’s sake,” Biden burst.
Witnesses said more Trump supporters gathered to protest in the event rather than the actual supporters of Biden.
Trump fans outside the venue recited the Pledge of Allegiance caught on video footage.
Biden’s visit to Minnesota aimed to draw out support against President Trump’s determined campaign to win the state, which he almost did in the last election.
