The former Vice President’s son won’t be getting out of the mud for a while as accusations thrown at him and his family piles up.
Hunter Biden, son of Presidential candidate Joe Biden, is in a deeper mess as a criminal referral gets underway. Republican Senator Rand Paul revealed in an interview with Fox News Wednesday that he would request a Department of Justice’s criminal referral against the younger Biden.
The senator said, “I think riding on Air Force Two and doing business is illegal and probably a felony.” “I think it’s illegal to take money from a Russian politician’s wife, $3.5 million, was it reported accurately?” Senator Paul said to host Martha MacCallum.
An extensive report previously revealed the excessive bank transactions of Hunter Biden with foreign nationals, including a wife of a Moscow ex-mayor, and alleged members of the Communist Party and the People’s Liberation Army.
Senator Paul said that the Department of Justice could determine the actual legality of the report. Thus, the senator thought he needed to send the report over.
Criminal concerns circulate on Joe Biden family’s ties to the Ukraine and China, Fox Business reported.
Finance Committee Chairman Charles Grassley (R-IA) previously publicly raised concerns on a possible conflict of interest in selling a US company to a Chinese firm linked to Hunter Biden.
The sale occurred a month before a whistleblower complaint was notified to the Congress, prompting the Democrats to impeach President Trump.

Obama administration officials and Blue Star Strategies, a Democrat lobbying firm, had consistent and significant contact with Andrii Telizhenko, a former Ukrainian Official. The group met at least 10 times.
Senator Rand Paul added that he wants to see “a criminal investigation that’s justified, Fox News reported.
