On Sunday, Russian Dictator Vladimir Putin came out to defend Joe Biden and his son, Hunter. The Russian said that there was nothing criminal about what the former Vice President and his son did in their shady business dealings.
And well, the Democrats couldn’t be happier. Here’s one:
According to Reuters, since Trump has been trailing in opinion polls, he’s resorted to using the debates to make accusations against Biden and his son. He’s accused them of engaging in unethical practices in Ukraine, but no evidence had been verified to support the allegations. Biden has also called them false and discredited.
Putin praised Trump in the past for saying he wanted better ties with Moscow, but he has said that Russia will work with any United States leader. As he said so, he noted Joe Biden’s “sharp anti-Russian rhetoric.”
On Sunday’s broadcast, Putin appeared less friendly towards Trump. It looks like Putin was trying to curry favor with the Biden administration, and he knocked down what he clearly said were false allegations from Trump about the Bidens.
“Yes, in Ukraine he (Hunter Biden) had or maybe still has a business, I don’t know. It doesn’t concern us. It concerns the Americans and the Ukrainians,” he said, noted Reuters.
“But well, yes, he had at least one company, which he practically headed up, and judging from everything he made good money. I don’t see anything criminal about this. At least we don’t know anything about this (being criminal),” he continued.
Putin was asked about Trump’s comments concerning an alleged payment that the Moscow former mayor’s ex-wife made to Hunter Biden. Putin said that he knew nothing of the existence of any commercial relationship between Hunter and the woman. Meanwhile, old Joe says that the accusation about his son is not true.
In 2016, Russia was accused of interfering in the US presidential election to tilt the race in Trump’s favor, which Moscow denied. Russia has also dismissed similar accusations of trying to interfere with this year’s election as well.
The question is, do you believe them?
